IGNOU re-registration last date extended to 15 July 2019

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is one of the premium universities for distance learners in India. Candidates who are studying the IGNOU university will have to re-register themselves after the completion of each semester/year.

Recently the last date of re-registration for various courses of IGNOU has been extended to 15 July 2019 from 30 June 2019. Candidates who want to re-register themselves in the IGNOU have an opportunity to apply for the same through online mode in the official IGNOU website.

How to re-register in IGNOU?

A candidate who wants to re-register in the IGNOU university will have to first visit the official website of IGNOU university i.e., www.ignou.ac.in and then click on the re-registration link provided under the Student Support menu item. If a candidate fails to re-register himself, he will be not be promoted to next semester/year which will lead to wastage of time for the student. 

Will there be any further extension of the last date for re-registration in IGNOU?

Generally, IGNOU university will not extend re-registration date further beyond 15 July 2019 as it will affect the schedule of its course curricula and also studnets will find it difficult to submit the IGNOU Assignments. So if you have not yet re-registered yourself in IGNOU, then go on and re-register yourself before 15 July 2019 so that you will not miss out the golden chance.
